Buddy Allen – Secretary (bottom right pic)
Buddy is a Husband and a father of 2 children. Buddy has worked as a Store Manager for 18 years with the Walgreens Company. Buddy also in an entrepreneur in the Real Estate field as a Mortgage Banker and other small business ventures. It was during his time at Walgreens that Buddy found a passion for Community Service and giving back to the community. As a member of the Rotary club and several efforts through the Walgreens company Buddy has built a wide network of relationships with organizations that serve the community.
Terry Vaughn Jr. – Vice President (top right pic)
Terry Vaughn is a District Manager of Retail and Pharmacy Operations for Walgreens. With 22 years of experience in retail operations, Vaughn is responsible for 15 stores and over 400 team members. Vaughn served on the Walgreens Advisory Council as one of 50 leaders across the country helping to shape the company’s vision for the future. Vaughn also serves on their executive board of directors for the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce as incoming chair. Vaughn has served in other roles for the Chamber such as Public Affairs Chair, Chamber Classic Golf Chair, Total Resource Campaign Chair, Leadership Lake Houston Class President, Ambassador, and member of the Board of Directors for 6 years. Vaughn is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, where he serves as a Scoutmaster. Vaughn earned an Associate’s degree from Lonestar College Kingwood in 2009. Vaughn’s accomplishments include 2018 and 2019 Young Professional of the year finalist, 2015 Rising Star Award, 2015 Walgreens Community Involvement District and Area Award, 2016 Chairman’s Award, and 2016 Top 4 Business Executives Under 40. He was named Lake Houston Area’s Non-Clinical Healthcare Professional of the Year in 2018.
Dwayne Burks-Green – Treasurer (bottom left pic)
Dwayne Burks-Green is a Father, Author, DJ and Entrepreneur. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Dwayne is a graduate of Lamar University and is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. After graduation, Dwayne went on to be employed by Anheuser Busch InBev, in which he works in operations. In 2018, Dwayne started DJ Waynehead Entertaiment LLC. Following the organization of the DJ company, he also started a radio podcast Movers and Shakers. In May of this year, Dwayne published his first book “Bet On You”. Dwayne’s long term goal is to impact as many lives as he can through his community efforts
Chris Magee – President/Founder of Non-profit Gods Hand (Top Left pic)
Chris Magee is a District Manager of Retail and Pharmacy Operations with over 16 years of leadership experience specializing in talent development and change management. He has presided over multiple community events building relationships with community groups including the City of Houston, CIGNA, Mayors office, Texas’s 29th congressional district,
Kids Meals, AHA, LLS, JDRF, making a positive impact in the community.
He is very passionate about giving back and providing a helping Hand to those in need.
Chris is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelors in Business Marketing. During his time served as President for the American Marketing Association.
